About Diverse Technologies
We are situated in Richmond NSW on the outskirts of Sydney. Our current premises serves as
our retail trading area, service department and offices. The business began in 1988 with
Diverse Software Systems specialising mainly in customised software development and then
expanding in 1989 with the start of Diverse Computer Systems to cater for the hardware
side of our customers needs. In 1996 we expanded yet again, moving to our current premises,
and also started DST Electronics (Now Hawkesbury Electronics).

Diverse Computer Systems
Our aim is to provide a honest, reliable service to our customers. We offer
after sales service and advice at an affordable price. We offer expertise in
home and business computer systems, networking, upgrades, repairs, programming,
educational software and technical advice.
Our service department caters for virtually all brands of PC based computer systems
as well as printers, scanners and modems. We offer support for operating systems
and networking software including Windows 9x/NT/2K and Linux.

Diverse Software Systems
Our aim is to provide customised software for the needs of small business.
Programming in the areas of debtors, creditors, point of sale, cash book
as well as specialised applications. We are able to provide customised software
for the Windows 9x/NT/2K or Linux platforms.

Hawkesbury Electronics
Our aim is to provide a large range of electronic parts and components for the
serious and home hobbyist. The range includes small electronic components up
to specialised electronic equipment. In March 1999 we also became an Authorised
Tandy Electronics dealer.

Tandy decided to shutdown numerous independent dealers around the country in order
to set up their own stores in those towns. (See "SMH" 12-08-04 Page 6 and "The Australian" 12-08-04 Page 25).
We were one of those stores, and as a result we have now aligned ourselves with Jaycar. We have been
dealing with Jaycar for many years (even before we were a Tandy dealer) and have found them
to be a reputable company. We will also source certain items that
Jaycar do not stock to allow us to offer a full range of items. Overall prices on most items will
be lower. Now that we can freely source items from many suppliers we will look for the items that
provide the best value and quality at a reasonable price.
